PhD Student
I am originally from Ghana, West Africa and undertook my BSc Degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST. I served as a Research and Teaching Assistant at KNUST after completion of my BSc degree. I received my Master Degree at South Dakota State University where I worked on the fate and transport of Escherichia coli, a fecal indicator bacteria and one of the leading cause of water quality impairment in the United States, in streams. I began my PhD degree here at UC Merced in 2018. My research interest includes water quality, watershed hydrology and impact of forest management activities on water yield and sediment erosion on a watershed scale.
