Hello! My name is Daniel, and I’m a third-year undergraduate majoring in psychology here at the University of California, Merced. After earning my B.A. degree in psychology, I plan on attending graduate school to earn an M.S. in clinical mental health counseling and become a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC). Some of my research interests include: 

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques

• Mental illness; with an emphasis on anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders

• Personality/ Big-Five Personality Model, and how personality traits potentially shape career choices and political leanings

• How exercise can promote psychological well-being

On a side note, some of my hobbies are reading, boxing, playing guitar, and cooking!
