I am a fourth-year doctoral student working in the SHARPP Lab at the University of California, Merced. I graduated with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Government College University, Lahore, Pakistan. My research interests involve understanding the interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors contributing to chronic illnesses. I am also particularly interested in the role of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in changing negative thinking patterns and aiming for positive behavioral changes. Currently, my research focuses on social cognition theories in relation to changing health behaviors. Moreover, I intend to develop a healthcare framework and strategies that foster physical and emotional well-being. My hobbies include practicing mindfulness, reading, and traveling.
