I am a fourth year PhD student in Health Psychology. I received my BA in psychology with honors from Humboldt State University in 2019. I also have my AS in mortuary science. My research focuses on political beliefs as determinants of health behaviors (e.g., vaccination, diet, physical activity, COVID-19 prevention). In addition, I extend social cognition models to incorporate socio-structural variables that might inform beliefs about health behaviors. In my free time I enjoy strength training, hiking, and yoga.
